Misha LuLu Clothing for both boys and girls is one of our signature clothing lines. Misha Lulu is a family owned and operated fashion brand, founded by Joe and Karen Salazar, a native of El Salvador. Misha LuLu designs are inspired by their faith, Latin culture and childhood memories, Misha Lulu is retro-modern infant and toddler brand. This fall collection is designed utilizing art, nature and family as the foundation of their designs.
Again, this season Karen has drawn her creations from nature and her surroundings and Incorporated them into a work of art. Woodsy creatures such as squirrels and owls intertwining them with soft fall colors to include browns, mauve's, and a mixture of blues. This season, Karen has also introduced us to some newer styles and designs. Although, she has kept her traditional and infamous jumper dresses, she has created some newer Tunic style dresses and paired them with leggings. One of the more popular thus far is the City Stroll Squirrel Tunic. Soft jersey cotton with a drop waist skirt. This is a great one to add to your fall collection.
I really love this line, because every year, we are surprised and impressed with the quality and prices of Karen's designs. Even though they are cute online, when I receive them in the store, I am even more astounded at the quality and workmanship of her clothing. In conjunction, each piece is always slightly different, as they are not "mass-produced" and she hires a select few seamstresses to sew each piece individually; which in my mind, makes them truly a boutique item.
If you have not shopped the Misha Lulu Fall/Winter collection yet this season, you should do so now. She is starting to ship her first collection and it is one that should not be missed.

Tea Fall 2009 Collection
In today's economic uncertainty and rising household costs, parents are now seeking affordable and high quality children’s clothing for back to school and everyday wear. Tea and Daily Tea,a 100% cotton knit collection, allows parents to purchase superior quality clothing at prices of $14 - $29. This collection also maximizes a child’s wardrobe by offering mix and match pieces. For example, 6 items can make 9 outfits, for under $150 or just $17 an outfit.
“Our goal is to offer parents great looking clothes that are reasonably priced and
long lasting for their children. The tees, pants, dresses are durable and look great
through endless washings”, says Lauren Uppington, Tea’s VP of Merchandising
Tea Collection based in San Francisco, has been introducing children and parents to styling, colors, and textiles inspired by the beauty of cultures around the world through apparel since 2002.
I have carried the Tea Collection in the past, approximately four years ago, before they developed the Daily Tea Collection, and I always found it to be of good solid quality and style. I thought the prices were reasonable, and I found that my customers especially enjoyed the boys collection.

Over the years, in changing up our collections, we did not repurchase Tea until this Fall 2009-2010. We actually had customers emailing us, asking us to bring it back into the line up. We decided to bring back a few Tea Signature Collections and Daily Tea prepackages for both boys and girls.
Not only is this collection superb in quality, it is stylish as well. A global aesthetic, unique silhouettes, hip graphics, and bold prints in a sophisticated color palette create the Tea and Daily Tea collection.
